Mentoring and Coaching session to enhance the capacity of Kraing Leav Samaki Agricultural Cooperative Committees in Kampong Chhnang Province.

This week, the Grow Asia-CPSA team, through “The Strengthening Rice Value Chain Project”, organized a mentoring and coaching session guides on agricultural cooperative management and leadership, business planning, marketing strategy, and financial management for the Chairman of the Board and Representative of Kraing Leav Samaki Agricultural Cooperative, located in Kraing Leav Commune, Rolea Bier District, Kampong Chhnang Province.

The goal of this initiative is to pinpoint the challenges and opportunities facing the target farming cooperative prior to delivering tailored technical support based on the cooperative’s needs to aid in enhancing cooperative governance.

This session is a specialized course designed to offer practical technical support to enhance farming cooperatives following their participation in earlier training series in the strengthening rice value chain project, which is facilitated by Grow Asia-CPSA with support from Heineken Cambodia.

Comment from the Kraing Leav Samaki Agricultural Cooperative Committee: “Today’s reflection and session, we’ve realized that the absence of strong leadership is both a current challenge and obstacle for our cooperative. We are committed to empowering our members and seeking additional resources to guide and propel our cooperative towards growth.”
